88 Airdrie Lynx Accepts Generous Donation from the Airdrie Air Show
On October 4, 2011 the Squadron was presented with a generous donation from the Airdrie Regional Air Show Society. This was a "Thank You" for our volunteer work at this past summer's show.
Many volunteers from our Squadron gave of their time for either one or two days to help out the Air Show Society. Duties included helping to park vehicles, selling programs, picking up garbage, selling Air Show memorabilia, and collecting bottles (proceeds from one of those days were kept by the Squadron). Along with the time spent carrying out these duties, volunteers were able to watch a fantastic show and, judging by the look on Cadet's faces, a really enjoyable one.
